A quick reminder about our event this Saturday! After being approached by a concerned local resident, we have decided to target an area of path near the ‘3 Arches’ in Heath. The area is quite beautiful, with two small streams running through it that feed Roath Park lake. However, fly tippers are active in the area and have left it an awful mess. We’ll aim to work around the Heathwood Road and Wingate Drive access points to the trail, clearing litter and a number of doors that have been dumped in the stream recently.
As always equipment and insurance is provided, just wear some suitable clothing and bring a smile. We are also dog friendly. Feel free to help out for as long or as short a time as you want, we usually try for a good two hours or so (depending on the weather!)
Please refer to the map below. Parking is available on Wingate Drive and the streets nearby.
Hope to see some of you there!
