Next Saturday 10th May is Clean Europe Day and the start of KWT’s ‘Clean Coasts’ Week, so we are supporting both initiatives by tackling a coastal location.
We are returning to the ‘beach’ accessible from Rover Way near the Ocean Way roundabout. Last year we managed to find all sorts of goodies and I’m sure that this time will be no different. Hopefully this time, the rubbish we find will be less than a year old so in theory, should be easier to remove (famous last words).
Car parking will be on the grass area nearby the event, look out for the Purple truck with the brand new Cardiff Rivers Group branding and park as near as possible.
Event Time: 10:00-12:00
Location: See map below
Parking: Rover Way on the grass near event start
As usual, all tools and equipment will be provided. Please wear warm, waterproof clothing in case the weather is poor.
Please let me know if you can make it so we can gauge the numbers
Come with us on Saturday and lets ‘Make a difference!’
In the words of Mahatma Gandhi: “In a gentle way, you can shake the world.”
