Llanishen Park Pond (Part 2)

Friday, 18 January, 9:45 am2:00 pm

On Thursday 17th and Friday 18th January we’ll be working in Llanishen Park, meeting at 09:45 for a 10:00 start, finishing at 14:00 (or until you’ve had enough!).

Come along for just a couple of hours or the whole session, on just one day, or both if you’re feeling energetic. Whatever you can do will make a difference.

We will be doing a lot of habitat management, including pond clearance and coppicing and, of course, a thorough litter-pick.

Meet at the changing rooms in Llanishen Park — the entrance is on the left just up Newborough Avenue, which in turn is off Ty Glas Road. (See map below.)

All tools and equipment — gloves, litter-pickers, bags, hoops,
safety glasses, etc — will be provided. (But if you have your own litter picking equipment, please bring it along. We’re getting so many volunteers now that we do risk running out of things!)

Please wear wellies, boots or stout shoes, and suitable ‘working’ clothing.

You might also want to bring waterproofs in case of wet weather.

Come along and Make A DIFFerence!
