Over 30 volunteers turned out this morning to help clear litter and brambles from Llanishen stream at Thornhill.
In places the stream was completely covered in a dense layer of brambles several feet thick — it felt more like hacking a path through tropical jungle at times (except for the temperature!).
In just 2 hours we collected around 50 refuse sacks of litter and 15 huge “builders bags” of brambles — an excellent morning’s work!
