Llandaff Weir

Saturday, 24 August, 9:45 am12:00 pm

We will be working on the river bank and islands below Llandaff Weir. It’s been a couple of years since our last visit, so there should be lots to do.

For those who enjoy getting in the water — and river conditions permitting — there will be ‘waders-work’ below the weir. Other (more sensible) people may prefer to litter-pick the surrounding areas along the river bank.

All tools and equipment — gloves, litter-pickers, bags, hoops,
safety glasses, etc — will be provided. (But if you have your own litter picking equipment, please bring it along. We’re getting so many volunteers now that we do risk running out of things!)

Please wear wellies, boots or stout shoes, and suitable ‘working’ clothing.

You might also want to bring sunscreen and drinking water in case of hot weather, and waterproofs in case it rains.

Come along and Make A DIFFerence!
