Sunday, 29 September, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
We’re making a return visit to the river Ogmore. (See what we did last time.)
This time we’ll be part of a large event, in partnership with Keep Wales Tidy, TrolleyWise, Creigau Tyres, ConeMasters Ltd, ASDA, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Wick Car & Van Hire and The Pelican.
The event itself starts at 9am and will run until sometime before 3pm, but please feel free to turn up and leave when you want!
There’s a car park on the right-hand side of the B4524 between Ewenny and Ogmore-by-Sea, about 3/4 of a mile after ‘The Pelican in her Piety’ pub. (See map below.)
There will be something for everyone. We will be looking to get as many tyres, trolleys and other rubbish out of the river as we can, and to litter-pick the river bank. If last time is anything to go by, there will be lots to do!
Refreshments will be provided during the day, and The Pelican pub is kindly providing ‘nibbles’ after the event, at 3pm, should you stay that long.
It will be muddy so dress appropriately! A change of clothes would probably be a good idea, too.
All tools and equipment — gloves, litter-pickers, bags, hoops,
safety glasses, etc — will be provided.
Please wear wellies, boots or stout shoes, and suitable ‘working’ clothing.
Come along and Make A DIFFerence!
