Wednesday, 4 March, 9:45 am – 12:00 pm
We tried to get here in mid-February, but were defeated by the atrocious weather, but hopefully we’ll make it this time!
Trenchard Drive been the scene of some epic events in the past — in 2016 we removed an incredible 8 truck-loads of rubbish.
We haven’t been there for a while and a recent walk round the area highlighted a lot of rubbish we can remove, plus we can unblock a grate over a culvert.
Please wear suitable footwear — it will be muddy!
All tools and equipment — gloves, litter-pickers, bags, hoops,
safety glasses, etc — will be provided. (But if you have your own litter picking equipment, please bring it along. We sometimes get so many volunteers now that we do risk running out of things!)
Please wear wellies, boots or stout shoes, and suitable ‘working’ clothing.
You might also want to bring waterproofs in case of wet weather.
Come along and Make A DIFFerence!
