Dr Who Beach – Clean-up after Storm Callum

Friday, 19 October, 1:45 pm4:00 pm

This Friday, 19 October, we will be cleaning up the “Dr Who Beach” in Cardiff Bay, meeting at 13:45 for a 14:00 start.

We’ll be being filmed for TV, so if you have a CRG T-shirt — preferably the blue “Sponsored by emr” type — please wear it! (If you don’t yet have one, we should have some spares available on the day.)

There will be plenty of rubbish to clean up following Storm Callum, lots of stuff having been washed down the Taff by the very high & fast water.

We will have access to the car park of the now-closed Dr Who Experience, so there will free on-site parking for all volunteers.

All tools and equipment — gloves, litter-pickers, bags, hoops,
safety glasses, etc — will be provided.

Please wear wellies, boots or stout shoes, and suitable ‘working’ clothing.

You might also want to bring waterproofs in case of wet weather.

Come along and Make A DIFFerence!
