Restore Our Rivers – The Taff at Forest Farm
Friday, 29 March, 2019, 9:45 am – 12:00 pm
We’ll be tackling the trailing branches that are full of rubbish on the banks of the Taff at Forest Farm, working down from Radyr Weir, past the footbridge to Radyr station and along the bank next to Forest Farm Road.
We may also attempt to move the large amount of rubbish we collected during our recent event at Radyr, which is still on the far bank near the cricket club.
Although it says the finish time is the usual 12 o’clock, this event is open-ended, so we’ll keep working for as long as people want to. (But, of course, you only have to stay as long as you wish.)
All tools and equipment — gloves, litter-pickers, bags, hoops,
safety glasses, etc — will be provided. But if you have your own litter picking equipment, please bring it along. We’re getting so many volunteers now that we do risk running out of things!)
Please wear wellies, boots or stout shoes – waders, if you have them! – and suitable ‘working’ clothing.
Come along and Make A DIFFerence!
